This past weekend we gassed up the rides and headed down to Ashburn VA to get some Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition at the Copa Nova. This was probably the biggest crowd that we have seen at copa nova event, the word must be getting out that there is real good competition at the copa nova. Team Lloyd Irvin was in the house. And as we do at other BJJ tournaments, Team Lloyd Irvin represented. Eddie Doud and the Watson bros (Jesse and Rob) answered the call from Top Flight and put it all on the line making the team proud. The best thing about Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournaments is that win lose or draw, when you give it your best your skill level shoots up and because you get better the team gets better. The other awesome thing about BJJ tournaments is meeting and hanging around other Team Lloyd Irvin member. The team love is out of this world even if you don’t know the other teammates personally or its the first time meeting them you know they got your back and will help you in every way possible and vice versa. Not everybody can shout AYYYYYYYYY, but they wish they could lol.
